Girl Scouts of Northern California chooses Epona, Office 365 and Matter Center for their Enterprise Wide – Document and Email Management Solution.
Alameda, CA based Girl Scouts of Northern California, one of the largest Girl Scouts Councils in the country, serving over 41,000 girl scouts in over 12 counties in Northern California, has chosen Office 365 and deployed Epona DMSforSharePoint, Epona Project Center [formerly known as Epona Matter Center], fully utilizing SharePoint for their Enterprise Wide full Document / Content / Email Management solution.
Alameda, CA and Asheville, NC – June 14, 2019 Girl Scouts of Northern California (GSNorCal), the largest troop region of the preeminent leadership development organization for girls, deployed and has in full production an Office365 SharePoint based DMS (Document Management System) utilizing Epona Project Center and DMSforSharePoint. Today, Glenn Rogers, Acting CIO of GSNorCal, is pleased to announce that their purchase of the Epona Software solution set, along with utilization of the Microsoft Office365 and SharePoint Online platform has been deployed into full production.
Mr. Rogers shared, “As a diverse, nonprofit organization, with a wide set of document and email management requirements, we were seeking a solution that could be deployed and utilized on a daily basis in numerous ways. We needed a solution that could be utilized by professionals working with documents at our three residential camps, departments that work in highly distributed, evolving and collaborative ways, and a mobile work force recruiting girls and volunteers in communities across Northern California. We also needed to ensure that the end user experience wasn’t overly altered from the already familiar network attached drive paradigm. We found that tool in Epona. Consultants from Epona assisted us in finding a great way to utilize our already existent investment in Office365 and make this a win for our organization at every level.”
Keith Vallely, Vice-President of Epona USA, said: “Girl Scouts of Northern California gave the Epona team a challenge that presented an elegant DMS design solution for the entire enterprise that simplified the process for end users. Extending our knowledge of Corporate Legal environments, our design consisted of providing a DMS located shared department project folders, coupled with a personal folder, along with Microsoft Teams for each department tied to the DMS. Now every user in the GSNorCal Enterprise has full DMS capabilities at their fingertips deployed in a way that dramatically enhanced their productivity and collaboration. Working with the Girl Scouts also taught me how incredible and diverse the organization is.”
